Terms & Conditions

The Small Print:

1. The website format will be based on a template design, a selection of which will be provided to the client in advance for selection.

2. Based on the client specification, the design, layout and number of pages will be agreed prior to commencing the web site design.

3. An electronic file for the web site text (Microsoft Word) will be provided; we require this to be returned in electronic format prior to commencing the design.

4. Photographs are to be provided electronically in JPEG format.

5. The home page template including layout and colour scheme will be created initially for client approval.

6. The remaining pages of the website will be created based on the home page template. These pages will only be created once the home page has been approved. Any further changes to the home page or template will incur an additional cost.

7. A page is defined as a maximum of 500 words of text and 5 photographs.

8. The client is responsible for the website content accuracy, and in particular that photographs and text provided do not infringe copyrights.

9. The monthly fee includes:

        - a. One domain name of the format www.[webname].co.uk. Additional and/or alternative format domain names can be provided for an additional fee. Please note selected domain names are subject to availability and can take up to 5 days to secure.

        - b. Web site hosting for the duration of the contract.

        - c. Initial web site design.

        - e. Minor revisions a maximum of 2 times per year (e.g. price revisions).

        - f. One months preliminary Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
.

10. A deposit equal to the first 3 months payments (minimum £45) is payable in advance.

11. The contract period is a minimum of 24 months duration, and fully extendable as required.


12. The contract period will commence when website hosting is made live.

13. Intellectual Property rights remain the property of Fine Design


Additional Services:

1. We will be pleased to undertake additional bespoke web site design including additional ongoing revisions.

2. We will be happy to assist you with creating and/or inputting your text from non-electronic format.

3. Additional Search Engine Optimization services are available to enhance search engine results.

The above additional services will be charged on a reimbursable basis using current rates. Please email or ring for a quotation.
